Leprechaun Traps
In preparation for St. Patrick's day we made leprechaun traps. Since we have been writing "how to" books, we read How to Catch a Leprechaun today. We decided we had to make traps so that the naughty leprechauns couldn't get into our classroom. They worked together in teams, and planned/prepared their materials, and then put it to action!

Author's Chair
Today we finished our "how to" books. This was a huge accomplishment! They did a great job finding their own topic and writing 8 steps to go with it, along with an introduction and conclusion. They each read their book to the class and got compliments from friends.
